Ex-piloto da Fórmula 1 sugere que a Red Bull só contratará Carlos Sainz se ele estiver disposto a ser segundo piloto de Max Verstappen.

Carlos Sainz is a highly skilled driver in the modern Formula 1 grid. He has excelled exceptionally in the 2024 F1 season, securing a Grand Prix victory. As a result, he has become the most sought-after driver in the market for the next year.

There have been rumors linking Carlos Sainz to different teams for the 2025 season. However, despite the buzz around him, the former F1 driver played down the possibility of joining Red Bull.

Damon Hill, a prominent figure in the sport, believes that Sainz’s exceptional talent could hinder Red Bull’s pursuit of the Spaniard next year. He doubts that Red Bull would allow anyone to challenge their current number one, Checo.

Sainz has been racing for the Ferrari Formula 1 team since 2021. Although he has performed well for them, the arrival of Lewis Hamilton in 2025 has forced him to seek a new team on the grid for the next year. It is worth noting that Red Bull has had a lead driver for a significant period of time.

While Damon Hill has raised doubts about Red Bull’s willingness to hire Sainz, he also acknowledges that the talented driver deserves a place in a top team. Sainz remains the only non-Red Bull driver to win a race since the 2023 Singapore GP.

At 29 years old, Sainz has already secured three Grand Prix victories in Formula 1. With 20 races still to be contested in the 2024 season, he has plenty of opportunities to impress potential teams for a contract in 2025. Many influential figures in the sport have praised his recent performances, making it intriguing to see which team he will join next year.
