The race is known for its glamour and the presence of celebrities. Many millionaires attend the race weekend and watch the event from their own yachts. In the midst of all the celebrities, Liverpool star Trent Alexander Arnold was seen visiting the race circuit before the qualifying session. Despite Alpine’s poor performance so far this season, the football player remains optimistic about his chances.

Trent Alexander Arnold invested in Alpine Racing along with other prominent athletes. Therefore, it was expected that the English football player would attend the race weekend after making such a significant investment. Arnold was asked about his confidence in Alpine’s chances during the Monaco weekend, despite their declining performance.

He expressed that the race was “very special” to him, especially as an investor. The 25-year-old player mentioned that he was delighted to be present on Saturday and Sunday. Furthermore, he stated that he was excited for the race and qualifying session to see what Alpine had to offer.

Alpine’s season started disastrously, with both drivers failing to achieve good results. This led most fans to lose hope in the French team due to their weak chassis. However, the Monaco GP could be a turning point compared to the usual race weekends. Fans cheered when both drivers made it through Q1 for the Monte Carlo race.

Gasly registered a lap time that secured him a spot among the top ten during the Q1 session. Similarly, Ocon narrowly escaped elimination, occupying the P15 position in the session. Therefore, both drivers will strive to compete in the Q2 session and reach Q3.

Now, Alpine has a promising opportunity to achieve good results after witnessing a top team like Red Bull face multiple issues. Both drivers excelled in the Monaco GP qualifying. As a result, the main race is expected to be extraordinary and may produce excellent and unexpected results for the drivers on the track.
