Volkswagen mostra as primeiras imagens do ID.7 Tourer

Volkswagen has revealed the first images of the new ID.7 Tourer that will arrive in the European market next year, and according to the brand, it comes with plenty of interior space and high efficiency.

Still covered with the traditional camouflage paint that hides some of the details of the new 100% electric wagon, the new ID.7 Tourer features simple and fluid lines, as is usual in all members of VW’s new generation fully electric model family, and benefits from excellent aerodynamic performance, evident in a Cx of just 0.24.

Like all models in the ID family, the new ID.7 Tourer is also based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, and it is already known that the trunk capacity is 545 liters, which can reach 1,714 with the rear seats folded down.

Although the trunk capacity has been revealed, Volkswagen has not disclosed details about the powertrain, which, however, is unlikely to be different from the sedan version of the ID.7, meaning it should be equipped with an electric motor producing 286 hp and 545 Nm, powered by an 82 kWh battery that ensures a range of around 615 kilometers and is capable of fast charging up to 170 kW. In addition, it is expected to have a version equipped with a 91 kWh battery, capable of fast charging up to 200 kW, and providing a range of up to 700 kilometers.

Like the sedan version, the ID.7 Tourer will be produced at the Volkswagen factory in Emden, Germany.
