Três pilotos correrão em Le Mans com a Inter Europol

Jakub ‘Kuba’ Smiechowski, Clement Novalak and Vlad Lomko are ready to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. They will be driving the #34 Inter Europol Competition Oreca 07 car, representing the team that won the LMP2 category last year. This year, the Polish team will have a different lineup of drivers, with only one Oreca car competing on June 15th and 16th.

Smiechowski, who has already competed in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2024, will be returning to La Sarthe for the prestigious endurance race. Novalak and Lomko, both European Le Mans Series drivers, expect tough competition in the highly competitive LMP2 field. Novalak will be making his debut at Le Mans.

Smiechowski expressed his belief that the race result is determined by Le Mans itself. He emphasized the team’s goal of maximizing their chances and his confidence in achieving another victory. As defending champions, they do not feel pressure and are satisfied with what they have already achieved, but are eager for another win.

Novalak, reflecting on his experience in a 24-hour race earlier this year, is eagerly anticipating the challenge of Le Mans. He expressed enthusiasm for racing on a favorite circuit of drivers and praised the strength of the team he will be joining. He acknowledged the need for thorough preparation, but emphasized the fun of facing the challenges that arise during the race.

Lomko, expressing his honor in joining Inter Europol Competition for Le Mans, exuded confidence in his chances of success. He highlighted Smiechowski’s previous victory and experience, as well as Novalak’s speed. Lomko himself aims to finish this year’s race after failing to complete it last year. He praised the team’s experience and expressed determination to secure a place on the podium after an unfortunate result at Daytona.

As part of his preparation, Lomko will be running with the team in the European Le Mans series at Paul Ricard and will be doing extensive simulator work. He also mentioned the possibility of doing a 24-hour simulation with the other two drivers to further enhance his preparation. Lomko is eagerly awaiting the event and is excited to start competing.
