Estugarda — Porsche has revealed the new Cayenne Coupé Electric, the sportiest and most aerodynamic version of its electric SUV, which will hit the market at the end of summer.

The Coupé variant follows the strategy already applied to combustion models, where it represented about 40% of Cayenne sales in 2025, now reinforcing the significance of this configuration in the transition to electric mobility.

Same mechanical base, more dynamic image

The new Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric maintains the same mechanical offering as the conventional version, with three power levels:

  • 435 hp in the base version
  • 657 hp in the S version
  • 1,139 hp in the Turbo version

The performance figures are also identical:

  • 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (base)
  • 3.6 seconds (S)
  • 2.4 seconds (Turbo)

Values that place the top of the range among the fastest SUVs currently available.

Fast charging with 800-volt architecture

The model uses an electric architecture of 800 volts, allowing for fast charging up to 400 kW.

According to the brand, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in less than 16 minutes, a competitive figure in the segment.

The 108 kWh battery is expected to ensure a range of over 480 km, although final data has not yet been officially released.

Changes focused on aerodynamics

The differences from the conventional electric Cayenne are mainly concentrated in the design.

The more sloped roofline and the redesigned rear allow for a reduction in the drag coefficient from 0.25 to 0.23, contributing to greater efficiency.

Other changes include:

  • slightly lower roof
  • new rear glass
  • active rear spoiler

Chassis technology remains complete

The Cayenne Coupé Electric continues to offer an advanced technical set, including:

  • adaptive air suspension as standard
  • four-wheel steering (optional)
  • Active Ride system in higher versions
  • Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus

Despite its more sporty orientation, it maintains relevant practical capabilities, including a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg.

Lightweight package reduces weight and enhances character

Porsche also offers a Lightweight Sport package, which includes:

  • carbon fiber roof
  • specific 22-inch wheels
  • high-performance tires
  • interior finishes in Race-Tex

Weight reduction can reach about 18 kg, depending on the version.

Launch and Prices

The model will be launched almost simultaneously with the conventional electric Cayenne, with deliveries expected by the end of summer.

In the United States, prices start at:

  • $116,150 (base)
  • $133,550 (S)
  • $170,350 (Turbo)

The Coupé version represents an increase of about $4,800 compared to the traditional SUV.

Conclusion

The Cayenne Coupé Electric does not change the model's formula but reinforces its positioning. Porsche chooses to offer the same technical base in a more emotional and aerodynamic format, maintaining the balance between performance and daily use.

It remains to be seen whether, as with the combustion versions, the public will continue to prefer this sportier variant within the range.
