FIAT started 2026 with an impressive performance in the European market, reinforcing its position in various segments and recording significant growth in sales.
Growth Above the European Market
In the first quarter, FIAT achieved a market share of 3.4% in Europe (EU29), an increase of 0.6 percentage points compared to the same period in 2025.
The volume of registrations exceeded 27,000 units, representing a growth of about 25%.
Leadership in Segment A
FIAT maintains dominance in the city car segment, with the Pandina and 500 models leading sales.
In total, these two models accounted for more than 45,000 units in the first quarter, securing a share of 57.6% in Segment A.
In Italy, the Pandina stands out as the best-selling car, with over 37,000 units and a market share of 7.6% of the total market.
Grande Panda Drives Results
The new Grande Panda emerges as one of the main growth engines for the brand, with more than 21,000 units sold in the first quarter.
In Italy, it already ranks third among the best-selling models, while in Portugal it is among the top ten best-sellers in Segment B.
The range will soon be strengthened with:
- right-hand drive version for the United Kingdom
- 100 hp turbo gasoline engine with manual transmission
International Recognition
The Grande Panda has been distinguished in several European markets, including design and value-for-money awards, reinforcing its acceptance among the public.
FIAT also leads in micromobility
In the light quadricycle segment, the Topolino continues to stand out, with over 3,000 units sold and a 10% growth compared to the previous year.
FIAT Professional grows in commercial vehicles
The light commercial vehicles division also recorded good results, with a market share of 7.4% in Europe, growing compared to 2025.
In Italy, the brand maintains its leadership with a market share of 25.6%, driven by the Ducato and Doblò models.
Positive performance in Portugal
In the national market, FIAT strengthens its position:
- 26.9% market share in segment A
- 458 units of the Pandina and 500 sold in the quarter
- 411 units of the Grande Panda
In light commercial vehicles, FIAT Professional is also growing, reaching a market share of 7.2%.
A promising start to the year
The results of the first quarter confirm FIAT's strategy, based on competitive urban models, new proposals in segment B, and strengthening its presence in commercial vehicles.
The brand thus enters 2026 with a solid positioning and positive prospects for the rest of the year.
