Toyota will present two new prototypes at the Tokyo Motor Show (Japan Mobility Show 2023), which runs from October 26 to November 5, in anticipation of the arrival of two new 100% electric models, an SUV and a sports car.
The Japanese brand says that the FT-3e is a concept of a next-generation SUV that will enrich customers’ daily lives with new driving experiences and personalized services provided by innovative technologies, and that it features an exterior design that combines advanced style and aesthetics while keeping the body lines and surfaces as simple as possible.
In addition, the FT-3e promises digital screens that run from the underbody to the upper door area and provide a wide range of information, including battery charge, on-board temperature and interior air quality when the driver approaches the SUV.
The FT-Se, on the other hand, is a high-performance, zero-emission sports car that incorporates Toyota Gazoo Racing’s experience in motorsport and features wide, low proportions, along with a sleek, modern silhouette to reduce aerodynamic drag.
Inside, this sports car promises a state-of-the-art cockpit that offers intuitive controls and a driving experience that Toyota says is more immersive.
It should be remembered that Toyota recently announced that it was developing a
new generation of batteries
which will begin to be introduced in the brand’s new 100% electric models from 2026, offering a range of approximately 800 kilometers between charges, a figure that could almost double in later versions.
