The Chinese brand Zeekr is preparing to launch an SUV, which is expected to hit the market later this year. The new model, internally known as CX1E, features the same platform and technology that the brand used in the 007, including the same design language, Hidden Energy.
The “CarNews China”, now reveals some images of the new model, still with the traditional camouflage, which show that the new SUV is equipped with slim LED daytime running lights, as well as an intelligent light bar. This 90” light strip can transmit messages to other road users using over 2400 LED lights.
The CX1E will use Geely’s Sustainable Electric Architecture (SEA) platform and will be the sixth model in the Zeekr range. Furthermore, everything points to the fact that the new electric model will make use of 800 V architecture and silicon carbide motors, identical to those used by the 007.
Recall that the Zeekr 007 is available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The former is powered by a 421 hp rear motor and provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The all-wheel drive option is powered by 224 hp motors in the front and 421 hp in the rear, and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.84 seconds.
