VÍDEO: Charles Leclerc tenta falar espanhol com Carlos Sainz no paddock de Barcelona

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have been competing together as teammates for Ferrari since 2021. In a recent event at the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix paddock, Leclerc tried to speak Spanish as a gesture to the crowd in Barcelona before FP3. Leclerc, who has been driving for Ferrari since 2019, has already won six races and gained worldwide popularity. Currently, he holds the second position in the drivers’ championship, trailing the leader by 56 points.

A video circulating on social media shows Leclerc speaking Spanish with the help of Carlos Sainz, who has Spanish roots. Despite struggling to form coherent sentences, Leclerc received applause from fans for his effort.

Leclerc’s victory at the Monaco Grand Prix this season was a remarkable achievement as it was his first win in his home race. After a disappointing race in Montreal, where Ferrari had a double retirement for the first time this season, Leclerc aims to return to his winning form in Barcelona.

Leclerc revealed that Ferrari successfully resolved the engine issues that hindered his performance in Montreal. During the Canadian Grand Prix, Leclerc faced difficulties in accelerating on the straights, which eventually led to a retirement.

Ferrari has shown an impressive performance this season, accumulating 252 points in nine races. The team has overcome reliability issues in the past and secured victories in Australia and Monaco.

The upcoming race in Barcelona will be a test of speed and skill for all teams. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with its high-speed corners and aerodynamic straights, presents a challenging track. Ferrari aims to regain its position in the points standings while striving for a third victory this season.
