Verstappen abre para alterações no circuito de F1 em ‘chato’ Mônaco.

Max Verstappen, Red Bull Racing driver, expressed his support for possible modifications to the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 track. Verstappen criticized the race for being monotonous and not living up to the definition of a true race. In a historic occurrence, the top 10 positions remained unchanged from the start of the race to the finish line, with Verstappen finishing in sixth place. Both Verstappen and the Mercedes team had planned to run on hard compound tires for a longer period, but a red flag on the first lap allowed the drivers to change tires and alter their strategies. Despite closing in on George Russell and defending against a passing attempt from Lewis Hamilton, Verstappen failed to make any overtakes. He described the race as monotonous, with drivers having to conserve their tires and drive at reduced speeds. Verstappen believes that, although the Monaco Grand Prix should continue to be part of the Formula 1 calendar, revisions should be made to increase overtaking opportunities. He expressed the desire to see changes that would make the race more exciting and engaging for both drivers and spectators. Verstappen also mentioned the importance of considering the specific track configurations when discussing possible alterations.
