Porsche continues to work on the unprecedented electric Cayenne and surprised fans of the brand by recently entering a prototype of the new SUV in the Championship Hillclimb at Shelsley Walsh, in the United Kingdom.
The test model stood out with its camouflage, and at the wheel was the test driver from the Porsche Formula E team, Gabriela Jílková, who, according to “TheDrive”, completed the climb in 31.28 seconds, setting a new record for a production electric SUV, four seconds faster than the previous record holder.
Although it is a test model, the publication notes that the Cayenne presented at Shelsley Walsh was very close to the production variant.
The camouflage of the record-setting electric Cayenne features a design in line with the latest models from the brand, including four LED bars in the headlights and a horizontal bar at the rear. The silhouette resembles the current Cayenne but differs in the modified window line at the C-pillar. The generously sized wheels also did not go unnoticed by fans.
It is worth noting that Porsche has already announced that it will unveil the 100% electric Cayenne at the Munich Motor Show in Germany, which will take place in September.
