Incêndio destrói 17 veículos da Tesla em Itália

Tesla’s sales continue to face strong pressure globally due to the political positions of Elon Musk, the CEO of the American electric vehicle company.

According to “Reuters,” Tesla’s sales in April saw a significant drop in Europe, with Sweden experiencing an 80.7% decline compared to the same month in 2024, reaching the lowest levels since October 2022.

Moreover, sales in the Netherlands fell by 73.8% in April, in Denmark by 67.2%, in France by 59.4%, and in Portugal by 33%. In Norway, a market where Tesla has been particularly dominant due to supportive policies for purchasing 100% electric vehicles, sales dropped by more than 55% in April compared to the previous month and by 31% compared to the same month in 2024.

It is worth noting that in Norway, fully electric vehicles accounted for 97% of all car sales in April.

Additionally, in Great Britain, new vehicle sales from Tesla plummeted an impressive 62% in April compared to the same month last year, marking the lowest figure in the past two years.

Elon Musk’s brand sold only 536 vehicles in Great Britain in April, down from 1,404 in the same month of 2024, resulting in a market share of 9.3% for electric vehicles year-to-date.

According to Reuters, while sales of fully electric cars increased by 28% in “much of Europe” in the first quarter, Tesla’s sales fell by 37.2%.
