Tesla has announced that the Fremont factory in California has just produced the 3 millionth vehicle, a Model S that came off the production line on May 18th.
On social media, Tesla revealed a photograph of employees around the 3 millionth unit, along with a battery assembled at the Gigafactory in Nevada that supplies the batteries for vehicles produced at the Fremont factory.

It is worth noting that the Fremont production unit has been crucial for Tesla’s growth and currently employs 22,000 employees.
In 2023, the factory produced over 550,000 vehicles, mainly destined for the US and Canadian markets, as well as exporting to some global markets.
