Shooting Brake concept do BMW Skytop revelado antes da estreia

After revealing the Skytop concept in 2024, BMW is now preparing to unveil the shooting brake version of the elegant two-door model, and what appear to be official images have already surfaced online ahead of its world premiere, which will take place next weekend.

After the German brand unveiled the design of the new concept earlier this week through a series of “teasers,” it was now “Cardesignworld”’s turn to reveal through social media images of what it claims to be the concept that BMW will present at the “Concours d’Eleganza Villa d’Este,” which will take place on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, and which is expected to be named “Speedtop.”

The images now revealed show that the new concept is closer to a traditional shooting brake than to the Skytop version presented last year, on which the German brand is working to produce a limited edition of the model.

If the concept of this shooting brake follows the footsteps of the original roadster, it will likely continue to use the same engine as the Series 8, namely a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 from the M8 Competition, with 625 hp and 750 Nm, paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.
