Renovated Porsche Taycan arrives with more power and range up to 678 km.

O novo Taycan também apresenta melhorias no interior, com um novo sistema de infoentretenimento, o Porsche Communication Management (PCM) de última geração, com ecrãs maiores e mais rápidos, e uma nova geração de volantes multifunções.

Além disso, o Taycan agora oferece o Porsche InnoDrive com o pacote de assistência ao condutor, que inclui o controle de cruzeiro adaptativo, assistente de mudança de faixa e assistente de estacionamento.

In addition to the power, the range has also been improved as the Taycan now has the capacity to travel 678 kilometers on a single charge, an increase of 175 km or 35% compared to its predecessor.

Porsche has also revealed that the updated Taycan not only requires fewer charging stops on long journeys, but also charges faster: at 800-volt DC charging stations, it can be charged up to 320 kW. That’s 50 kW more than the predecessor. The fast charging period of the new battery has been significantly extended. Thus, the charging capacity of over 300 kW can be maintained for up to five minutes and, in addition, can be reached more quickly even at low temperatures, allowing for 10 to 80% recharges in just 18 minutes.

On the chassis side, the biggest novelty is the adoption of adaptive air suspension in all versions, while the new Porsche Active Ride suspension is available as an option for all-wheel drive versions, offering greater comfort and better driving dynamics. It keeps the Taycan level at all times, absorbs road irregularities to keep passengers comfortable, while reducing body roll, distributing the vehicle’s weight evenly across all four wheels, and allowing for better grip, especially in fast corners.

Esthetically, the renewed Taycan presents a new design for the front and rear, with new headlights featuring HD-Matrix high-resolution technology, flatter than before, which more prominently highlight the width of the 100% electric sports car.

In the rear, the Porsche logo on the light strip has a three-dimensional design. For the first time, an illuminated version with welcome and farewell animations is available.

In addition, all variants are now equipped as standard with aerodynamically optimized 21” wheels and low rolling resistance tires.

In the interior, the model receives a new screen with an optimized interface that includes a lever behind the steering wheel to make the use of driver assistance technologies more intuitive. In addition, Apple CarPlay has been further integrated into the infotainment system, and a new in-car video function allows streaming on the central screen and the optional passenger screen.
