Porsche announced that the Macan, the compact SUV from the Stuttgart brand, has just reached one million units produced at the Leipzig factory in Germany.
Launched in 2013, the Macan enjoys enormous popularity, having sold 82,795 units last year. “This model represents growth and change like no other: the compact SUV has been fundamental in the expansion of the Leipzig factory and in its first steps into the era of electric mobility,” said Gerd Rupp, Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche Leipzig GmbH.
The millionth Macan produced is a model with a Frozen Blue body color, featuring a two-tone interior in black and gray, equipped with sport seats, a heated leather steering wheel, a head-up display with augmented reality technology, and a panoramic roof.
Under the hood, this Macan 4 delivers an overboost power of up to 408 hp, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h. The model is equipped with a powerful high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh, offering a range of up to 612 kilometers.
