Novitec revela Ferrari 296 GTS N-Largo com 868 cv

The German tuner, Novitec, has accustomed its fans to more extreme modifications of supercars, and this time it decided to enhance the Ferrari 296 GTS, giving it a more muscular appearance and a power output of 868 hp.

Making an exotic car like the Ferrari 296 GTS even more thrilling has been the specialty of the German tuner, which has now decided to give the convertible model from the Maranello brand an N-Largo look.

Thus, the body conversion kit is made of carbon fiber and complemented by Novitec NF11 NL wheels, manufactured by Vossen, measuring 21 inches for the front axle and 22 inches for the rear.

This aerodynamic upgrade added 12 cm in width, which, according to the German tuner, has improved stability thanks to components made of carbon fiber and details tested in a wind tunnel.

The side skirts and rear wideners are integrated into the broader stance of this convertible sports car, while the carbon air intakes optimize the cooling of the engine and braking system.

At the rear, a generously sized Novitec diffuser and a ducktail spoiler enhance aerodynamics, with an optional rear wing available to increase downforce.

Another perfect adjustment for the stunning look of this 296 GTS N-Largo is the reduction of the ride height by about 35 millimeters, benefiting from the adoption of sport springs calibrated to improve the performance of the production dampers.

Additionally, an optional lifting system allows the front to be raised by 40 millimeters at the touch of a button, making it easier to deal with road bumps or garage entrances.

In terms of powertrain, Novitec has decided to enhance the twin-turbo V6 engine that powers the Ferrari 296 GTS by developing new exhaust systems for the model, including a competition version, and special finishes for the tailpipes, which can be made of carbon or even gold. The system features active valves for adjustable sound, and the dual exhaust pipes are finished with custom wire mesh inserts. With these modifications, the 296 GTS N-Largo now delivers a maximum power output of 868 hp, which is an increase of 39 hp over the “normal” version.

Inside, the interior is fully customizable with Alcantara and leather in any color, allowing owners to create a bespoke cabin.
