Norris adverte que Miami não conseguiu aproveitar totalmente os aprimoramentos da McLaren F1.

Lando Norris, the British driver from McLaren, issued a warning to his Formula 1 competitors that the team’s recent improvements were not fully utilized during the Miami Grand Prix, despite his race victory. McLaren introduced significant changes to their MCL38 car at the Miami International Autodrome, focusing on improving its aerodynamic efficiency with 10 specific modifications. Norris was able to take advantage of these improvements, showing impressive speed from the start and securing his first Formula 1 victory after a Safety Car period during the race. However, Norris had previously warned that the Miami track would not fully showcase the team’s developments. He expressed hope that future races, such as Imola, would provide a better opportunity to reveal the true potential of the car. Norris acknowledged that the team had made significant progress and praised their efforts. Looking ahead to the next stage in Imola, Norris believes that even with the introduction of additional parts for his teammate, Oscar Piastri, McLaren may not find all the answers it is looking for. He emphasized the importance of not drawing conclusions based on a single session or track, urging patience and a broader perspective. Norris stated that it would take at least three races to truly understand the car’s performance in different conditions. As Norris prepares for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, he comes to the race with a solid track record in Imola, having achieved two podiums in his previous visits to the historic circuit. McLaren currently holds third place in the Constructors’ Championship, with a 60-point advantage over Mercedes and trailing Ferrari by 63 points. In turn, Ferrari will be implementing their own improvements for the next race.
