The new generation of the P7 from Xpeng has now been “caught” by “CarNewsChina” without camouflage, revealing the new design of the 100% electric model, which is expected to be presented in the largest automotive market in the world in the third quarter of 2025.
Designed to compete with the Xiaomi SU7, the new generation of the P7 features a new exterior design, with a more angular body, horizontal light bars at the front and rear, and vertical LED elements.

The new 100% electric model features a fastback profile with a raised rear and an active electric spoiler. Note also the retractable door handles and the darkened A, B, and C pillars.
With just over 5 meters in length, 1.97 m in width, and 1.42 m in height, the new P7 is larger and lower than its predecessor, and has a wheelbase of 3 meters, which positions it among large sedans. Additionally, the model is expected to be equipped with 20 and 21-inch wheels.
In terms of powertrains, everything indicates that the new generation of the P7 will have rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The former is equipped with a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle with 360 hp, powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries and lithium batteries.
The all-wheel drive version, including the spectacular gullwing door edition “wing door edition,” combines a front engine of 223 hp and a rear engine of 3600 kW, resulting in a combined power of 586 hp. The official values for range and battery capacity have not yet been revealed.
The revamped P7 is expected to be equipped with a lot of technology, highlighting the latest driver assistance system from Xpeng, featuring two Nvidia Orin-X chips with a computing power of 508 TOPS and supported by 27 onboard sensors.
