In the car, during last year, Portuguese people listened to more Coldplay, Calema, and… children’s music!
Studies prove that listening to music in the car relieves stress while driving, and we all know that a good soundtrack helps make driving more exciting. Currently, the Spotify platform is the most used music streaming service in the world, and the car is one of the contexts in which users use the service.
According to Spotify, Taylor Swift was the most listened artist in Portugal in 2023, but in the car, the most listened artists were Coldplay, followed by Calema, The Weeknd, and… Panda and the Caricas, the popular children’s music project by Universal Music Portugal and Canal Panda, which continues to be the biggest phenomenon in children’s music, even during car trips.
