Mini Cooper SE ganha visual desportivo JCW

Mini decided to give a sporty look to the 100% electric Cooper SE and for that it created a John Cooper Works version of the well-known zero-emission model, which combines iconic design with sustainable mobility.

The three-door model stands out for the traditional color scheme used by John Cooper Works, red, white, and black, and the checkered flag represented on the octagonal grille. The muscular appearance of the MINI Cooper SE JCW is further enhanced, among other details, by the 18” ten-spoke wheels and red JCW brake calipers. It also features two red stripes that extend from the hood to the end of the roof, reinforcing the sporty character of this model.

Note also the new bumpers, glossy black mirror caps, and the generous rear diffuser, despite being a 100% electric model.

The 240mm diameter OLED central screen groups vehicle-related data and provides navigation and infotainment information, as well as climate control settings. In addition, in MINI Experience modes, it includes the Go-Kart mode inspired by John Cooper Works, but note that, in addition to allowing some screen and interior lighting adjustments, it features a special Go-Kart sound and an optimized throttle response that, according to Mini, improves the sporty driving experience.

Despite the revolution in design and the inclusion of a set of details inherent to the JCW version, the engine that equips the new Cooper SE is the same as the normal version, meaning it has a power output of 218 hp and a maximum torque of 330 Nm, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The high-voltage battery of 54.2 kWh allows a range of up to 402 km and can be charged from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes at a fast charging station.
