Mazda6e redefine a interatividade centrada no ser humano

Mazda claims to have redefined human-centered interactivity with the new 6e, fully electric, which will hit the market this September.

With intuitive technology and a thoughtfully designed user experience, the Mazda6e creates a perfect bond between driver and machine, prioritizing safety, comfort, and emotional connectivity.

From the moment the driver approaches the vehicle, the Mazda6e offers a warm welcome inspired by omotenashi – the Japanese spirit of hospitality and thoughtful anticipation. The Welcome Mode is activated as soon as the vehicle detects the key: the side mirrors unfold, the door handle presents itself, the doors unlock automatically, and a distinctive light signature at the front and rear welcomes the driver.

Upon opening the door, the driver’s seat moves back 10 centimeters to facilitate entry, returning to the preset position once inside. The sequence is reversed when exiting the vehicle – a gesture that reflects the vehicle’s attention to detail and care for its occupants.

Inside, the cabin exemplifies Mazda’s Smart Cockpit philosophy: the screens and controls naturally encompass the driver’s field of vision to reduce distraction and improve reaction time. Additionally, a generous Head-Up Display projects critical driving data, such as speed, navigation instructions, and safety alerts, onto the windshield at a focal distance of 7.5 meters.

Furthermore, drivers can customize the amount of information displayed through three modes – Minimal, Classic, or Custom – with an additional Snow Mode that alters the screen colors to enhance readability in bright winter scenarios.

Behind the steering wheel, a set of 10.2’’ digital gauges presents essential information about direction and vehicle status, including tire pressure, mileage, battery charge status, outside temperature, and open door alerts.

At the center of the dashboard, a 14.6’’ screen offers an interface for communication, entertainment, and vehicle settings. With a layout and functionality inspired by smartphones, users can customize their experience by configuring widgets and shortcut icons for quick access to frequently used features.

Adding to all this, a premium audio system from Sony with 14 speakers, including one discreetly integrated into the front bumper for external playback.

The new Mazda 6e is already available for order in the national market with two 100% electric mechanical configurations, Standard with an electric motor of 258 hp and 320 Nm of torque, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

The electric motor is powered by a 68.8 kWh LFP battery, which announces an overall range of up to 479 km (combined WLTP) and up to 605 km in urban environments (combined City WLTP), which can be charged from 10 to 80% in approximately 24 minutes with a 165 kW DC charger. Mazda also announces that it is possible to add 235 km of range in just 15 minutes of charging with direct current.

The Long Range variant is equipped with an electric motor of 245 hp and 320 Nm of maximum torque, with an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h of 7.8 seconds and the same maximum speed of 175 km/h.

Associated with an 80 kWh LFP battery, this version promises an overall range of up to 552 km (combined WLTP) and up to 692 km in urban environments (combined City WLTP), with the battery pack having a charging capacity of 90 kW DC, allowing the batteries to be recharged from 10% to 80% in about 47 minutes.
