Max Verstappen diz que a Red Bull não possui o ‘mesmo ritmo da temporada passada’ durante um início ‘desafiador’ de 2024.

Max Verstappen emerged victorious in six of the nine races held so far this season, despite facing difficulties with the RB20 car.

The Red Bull Racing driver recently shared his thoughts on the team’s performance in the current year. Although the Milton Keynes-based team currently occupies the first position in the championship, they have not been as dominant as usual.

Verstappen, aiming for his fourth consecutive world championship, has shown impressive skills throughout the season. However, the 26-year-old driver has also faced moments of vulnerability.

Verstappen explained that Red Bull has faced some inexplicable problems this season, which will require time and effort to be resolved. He emphasized that there have been no reliability issues with the RB20 and that the team remains focused on their goals.

Although the Milton Keynes team may not have displayed the same level of fluency as last season, they are still among the top teams on the grid. Despite the setbacks in 2024, the team has maintained consistent performance and aims to solve the car’s problems in the upcoming races.

The Red Bull team boss, Christian Horner, acknowledged the need to face the challenges of using the curbs. However, he emphasized that they will not compromise the aerodynamic aspects of the car. The team has faced difficulties on circuits that require extensive use of the curbs and have irregular surfaces.

Red Bull has faced significant challenges in controlling the RB20 on circuits with many curbs and irregularities. However, the team remains confident in their ability to overcome these problems, despite the significant time and effort required.

Horner expressed the team’s enthusiasm for competing on traditional high-speed circuits, where they can maximize their potential in qualifying and races. The upcoming event in Barcelona presents an opportunity for the reigning champions to showcase their abilities. Considering this, their performance during the three-day race weekend promises to be captivating.
