Max Verstappen considera trocar da Red Bull para a Mercedes.

The current situation arises after Horner was given the green light by Red Bull GmbH, the team’s parent company, following an investigation into allegations of “inappropriate conduct” with a female colleague.

Rumors are circulating that Max Verstappen is reconsidering his future with Red Bull Racing due to a growing controversy involving team principal Christian Horner.

This development comes after Horner was cleared by Red Bull GmbH, the team’s parent company, following an investigation into allegations of “inappropriate behavior” with a female colleague.

However, the controversy deepened with the leak of numerous WhatsApp messages allegedly exchanged between Horner and the colleague to the F1 community.

Despite these challenges, Horner has stated his intention to remain as team principal.

This stance has led to increasing tension within the team, highlighted by comments from Verstappen’s father, Jos, himself a former F1 driver.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Jos criticized Horner’s continued leadership, stating: “There is tension here as long as he [Horner] remains in his position. The team is at risk of splitting. It cannot continue in its current state. It will explode. He is portraying himself as the victim, when in fact he is the one causing the problems.”

Jos Verstappen echoed these sentiments in statements to De Telegraaf, amid reports of a confrontation between him and Horner during the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.

Despite Jos Verstappen’s denial of involvement in leaking the messages to F1 personnel, speculation about Max Verstappen’s future with Red Bull has intensified.

Max’s contract with Red Bull extends until 2028, but rumors suggest he may leave, especially with a vacancy emerging at Mercedes in 2025 after Lewis Hamilton’s decision to join Ferrari.

Conversations between Mercedes boss Toto Wolff and Jos Verstappen have been noted, with the Telegraph reporting Jos’s willingness to relocate his son from Red Bull if necessary.

Wolff praised Max Verstappen’s performance, stating after a race: “Max is in a league of his own, in a different stratosphere.

“We simply have to acknowledge his exceptional levels of performance.

“The performance was extraordinary.”

In response to the ongoing drama, Red Bull Racing issued a statement emphasizing solidarity within the team: “There are no issues here.

“The team is united and our focus is on the races.”

This statement highlights the team’s effort to present a united front amidst the ongoing controversies.
