Max Verstappen confessa que deu tudo de si, mas não conseguiu a pole position no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

Max Verstappen was defeated by Lando Norris in the battle for pole position, with a difference of only 0.02s in lap time.

Despite Red Bull’s recent difficulties, Max Verstappen has consistently achieved impressive results. The 26-year-old driver showcased his skills during the practice sessions and came close to securing pole position. However, his exceptional lap was just 0.02s behind first place.

Prior to the Spanish GP, Max Verstappen expressed confidence in the Red Bull’s setup. He had high hopes of clinching pole position for the main race and noted that things were coming together well during the qualifying sessions. However, the practice sessions proved to be more challenging for the Austrian team.

Max Verstappen also credited Sergio Perez for providing a helpful tow during the Q3 session. This allowed him to achieve a strong lap, although it fell slightly short of pole position. Despite giving his best in the RB20, the result was not enough. However, Verstappen anticipates an exciting race at the Spanish GP.

Competition in Formula 1 has never been so fierce, especially with Mercedes improving their performance in qualifying and races. Multiple teams are now vying for the top positions, making the season thrilling. Verstappen believes this is a positive development for the sport.

Verstappen acknowledges that securing a pole position in Formula 1 is never easy and is ultimately a battle with oneself. However, he appreciates the increased competition among teams for first place. This sets the stage for thrilling races at the Spanish GP.

To ensure a victory tomorrow in the race, Red Bull will need to continue maximizing the potential of its chassis. The strong performance of McLaren at the Spanish circuit intensified the competition, and Woking must ensure that everything is in perfect condition to withstand their rivals from Milton Keynes in Barcelona.
