Maserati makes its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, an event dedicated to the nautical world taking place in the Principality until the 28th, to unveil the Tridente, a boat with which the Italian brand is writing a new chapter in its history on the water.
The Tridente is a 100% electric boat measuring 10.5 meters, with a maximum power of 600 hp, powered by a 252 kWh battery, providing a cruising speed of 25 knots (46 km/h) and a maximum speed of 40 knots (74 km/h). The battery can be recharged in less than an hour using direct current.
The luxurious electric boat from Maserati is the result of collaboration between the company from Modena and Vita Power, a naval technology company dedicated to the development and production of fully electric propulsion systems and yachts. It can accommodate up to 10 passengers and is made of carbon fiber, featuring top-level finishes crafted by the nautical artisans of Hodgdon Yachts, a shipbuilder from Maine, USA, with a history spanning over 200 years.
At the Maserati space at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Trident is accompanied by a GranCabrio Folgore with a Rose Gold body.
The new 100% electric model, presented in April, features a retractable soft top to enjoy the best open-air experience, space for four true seats with the essential comfort, even on long journeys, and 800 V technology for reference performance, provided by three powerful permanent magnet motors, one in the front and two in the rear, allowing the GranCabrio Folgore to deliver a combined power of 829 hp and 1350 Nm of maximum torque. Thanks to the impressive power, the GranCabrio can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
The electric motors are powered by a 92.5 kWh capacity battery, but only 83 kWh are utilized, allowing for a range of up to 450 km.
