Marko: Red Bull investigating Horner fairly.

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA - MARCH 18: Red Bull Racing Team Consultant Dr Helmut Marko and Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner walk in the Paddock prior to final practice ahead of the F1 Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia at Jeddah Corniche Circuit on March 18, 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ongoing issue surrounding Christian Horner at Red Bull Racing has been a topic of conversation for quite some time now. Many expected it to be resolved before the team unveiled their RB20 Formula 1 car for the upcoming 2024 season. However, this was not the case. Despite the accusations against him, Horner attended the launch and vehemently denied any misconduct. He made it clear that it was business as usual for him and confirmed his participation in the upcoming pre-season testing in Bahrain on February 21st. As Horner prepares to travel to Bahrain, the investigation into his actions continues, leaving his future as the head of Red Bull Racing uncertain. Despite Formula 1 urging Red Bull to promptly resolve the matter, the team is taking its time. Helmut Marko, a prominent figure at Red Bull, believes that a thorough and impartial investigation is the best approach. He recognizes that the longer the investigation takes, the more rumors and speculation will arise. Marko commends Red Bull for their handling of the situation and emphasizes that the delay is not their fault. He expresses confidence that once the investigation is concluded, Red Bull will respond accordingly. Marko has refrained from sharing his opinion on Horner’s investigation until it is resolved.
