After fulfilling his broadcasting obligations for the 2024 season, Harvick now has more free time. Over the weekend, he took on the role of a driver’s father and supported his son on the track for the first time this year. During a press interview, Harvick discussed his thoughts on his debut as a commentator, stating that it was more challenging than he initially anticipated. Despite the demanding workload, he enjoys being able to experience the excitement of racing and remain involved in the sport. Harvick also mentioned his upcoming debut in Late Model races at Five Flag Speedway, explaining that the track was chosen due to its proximity to his team. Currently, the former SHR driver is enjoying the freedom from racing and media obligations, and looks forward to spending quality time with his children in their everyday lives and racing endeavors.
