Helmut Marko acusa Mercedes e McLaren de testar os limites da legalidade durante a intensa disputa pelo título com a Red Bull.

Red Bull has already lost three victories in this year’s Grand Prix. Toto Wolff, Zak Brown, and Helmut Marko have expressed their thoughts on the matter. The 2024 F1 season has surprisingly become an exciting competition, with several teams vying for the world championship. McLaren and Mercedes have seen an increase in their performance, which has raised questions about Red Bull’s front wing. Helmut Marko believes that McLaren and Mercedes’ front wing is legal, but it deforms during the race, giving them an advantage. He considers the flexible front wing to be one of the main reasons for the improved pace of these teams. Mercedes even secured pole position during qualifying in Montreal. The reaction of the Red Bull team consultant clearly shows his dissatisfaction with McLaren and Mercedes’ front wing. He also acknowledged that both teams are pushing the limits of the wing’s legality. While Marko has concerns about the front wing, Red Bull also has the task of finding the perfect setup on their RB20. Since FP1 in Barcelona, they have struggled to achieve the perfect lap. They finished FP1 in second place but dropped to fifth at the end of FP2. Red Bull arrives in Barcelona after a tough victory in the Canadian Grand Prix. The team seems to have regained their momentum, and it will be interesting to see how they perform for the rest of the Spanish GP weekend. They will face strong competition from Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes.
