Grid da Fórmula E do futuro potencialmente preenchido por reservas da F1 e estrelas da Fórmula 2.

The rookies’ test in Berlin this week had a significant impact on the Formula E driver market. One of the reasons for this was the impressive performance of McLaren’s substitute driver, Taylor Barnard. Just six months ago, Barnard didn’t even consider testing or racing in Formula E, but now he is scoring points and building a solid relationship with the team at 19 years old. This highlights the accessibility of Formula E and the potential for younger, hungry, and accessible drivers to make their mark in the sport.

Another factor contributing to the opportunity for new faces in Formula E is the recent conflict with the World Endurance Championship, which affected three teams. This opens the door for new drivers to join the grid, as teams may be looking for alternatives due to the inconvenience caused by conflicts between the two championships.

There is also the issue of driver safety. In the last 16 months, six drivers have suffered hand injuries, with two of them missing races as a result. Even last weekend, two drivers narrowly escaped serious injuries. This highlights the physical risks involved in Formula E and the need for teams to have backup options in case of injuries.

The test times in Berlin were comparable to race weekends, suggesting they have some merit in evaluating driver performance. Drivers like Robert Shwartzman, Jak Crawford, Sheldon van der Linde, Felipe Drugovich, Kush Maini, and Enzo Fittipaldi showed promising results during the test. These drivers have potential for short, medium, or long-term futures in Formula E.

A pilot who stood out during the test was Maloney, who impressed the Andretti team with his attention to detail. He has been closely involved with the team throughout the season and has a good understanding of how everything needs to be done. Maloney has the potential for a long-term future in Formula E, following in the footsteps of previous champions.

Another driver to keep an eye on is Felipe Drugovich, who made a credible impression every time he tested for the Maserati team. He sees Formula E as a natural continuation of his single-seater career and is open to the possibility of joining the championship if he does not find a path to Formula 1.

Shwartzman had his best day in Formula E during the Berlin test, showing significant improvement and leading both sessions. He is open to discussing opportunities in Formula E and sees the potential for drivers to compete in both Formula E and the World Endurance Championship.

Kush Maini had a good start to his season in F2 and has been working closely with the Mahindra team as a reserve driver. Although he is a solid option as a substitute driver, there are currently no medium or long-term opportunities for him due to the team’s current lineup of drivers.

Enzo Fittipaldi, following in the footsteps of his brother Pietro, showed promise during the Berlin test and impressed the engineering team with his technical aptitude. He could be a potential candidate for Jaguar in the future as the team looks towards the next generation of Formula E cars.

Overall, there are several drivers who have shown potential and readiness for Formula E. The rookie test in Berlin provided a platform for these drivers to showcase their skills and potentially secure opportunities in the sport.

The British driver from the Mercedes team demonstrated his exceptional skill by overtaking his competitors and securing the first place on the podium. However, Hamilton showcased his experience and skill in handling adverse conditions. He navigated the wet track masterfully and managed to overtake his opponents with ease. His pit stop strategy was also flawless, allowing him to maintain his lead position.

With this victory, Hamilton extends his lead in the world championship for drivers. He is determined to win his seventh title and become the most successful driver in Formula 1 history. His undeniable consistency and talent make him the favorite to achieve this feat.
