Fans outraged by Red Bull’s negligence in the iconic Le Mans race, according to Le Mans X’s account response.

The Red Bull X account shared an unexpected meme after forgetting that the 24 Hours of Le Mans were scheduled for a Formula 1 race-free weekend.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans are beloved by many motorsport enthusiasts worldwide for the thrilling racing action it offers. This event takes place for a full 24 hours at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France. The 2024 edition began on June 15 and will soon come to an end. Consequently, the race fell on the Formula 1 race-free weekend this time.

The Red Bull Racing X account is known for its humorous content and participation in meme culture. Typically, during a race weekend, the account shares funny memes about F1 drivers and teams. However, this time, Red Bull posted an image depicting boredom and sadness. The caption implied that this is how everyone feels during a race-free weekend.

This indicated that the Red Bull Racing account administrator had forgotten about one of the most important races in motorsport history, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In response to this inappropriate post, the official Le Mans X account quickly replied with a sarcastic remark, redirecting fans’ attention to the WEC.

In a recent tweet on X, several fans expressed their disappointment with Red Bull’s post. One fan believed that the post showed disrespect for one of the greatest races. Another fan suggested that Red Bull’s lack of involvement in the WEC was the reason for their boredom during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Another fan noted that people had very high expectations for an energy drink company.

Meanwhile, another fan stated that F1 would be more interesting if it adopted the Hypercar series. Additionally, a particular fan claimed that Red Bull was bitter for not being part of the WEC series. Another fan emphasized that the 24 hours of Le Mans were far superior to F1.

Several F1 drivers even attended the WEC over the weekend, including [names of the drivers]. This further solidifies the WEC as one of the most prestigious racing formats in the history of motorsport. Fans from all over the world eagerly attend the WEC race, despite its duration of over 24 hours. Furthermore, the involvement of three different drivers throughout the 24 hours adds excitement to the race.
