Fãs decepcionados com eliminação de Daniel Ricciardo no Q1 no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

The abysmal performance of Daniel Ricciardo in the 2024 season continues as he is eliminated in the Q1 qualifying session in Barcelona.

The Australian driver has had a disappointing start to the season and is at high risk of being replaced due to his weak performance. Therefore, the 34-year-old driver had aimed to do better in the Spanish Grand Prix. However, he has already been eliminated in the Q1 qualifying session.

The Spanish GP is known for its combination of high and low-speed corners. Ricciardo’s performance has been overshadowed by his competitors on most occasions.

Unfortunately, RB’s nightmare season continues as both drivers face elimination in the Q1 qualifying session. Ricciardo’s elimination means he will have to work hard to improve his position.

Many people in the paddock believed Ricciardo would soon be replaced at RB due to his disappointing performances. However, the team had already expressed satisfaction with their current lineup of drivers. On the other hand, Yuki Tsunoda has already secured a one-year extension with the team. As a result, there is uncertainty regarding Ricciardo’s future in Faenza.

In a recent tweet on X, several fans expressed their disappointment with Ricciardo’s early elimination in Q1. One fan mentioned that it was not surprising considering the 34-year-old driver’s recent form. Another fan highlighted that RB’s weak performance, despite the new updates, was not a good sign for the team.

Meanwhile, another fan called for Ricciardo’s immediate replacement due to his weak performance. Another fan suggested that it was time for Ricciardo to retire from the sport. Additionally, someone stated that the Australian driver was past his prime due to his recent performances.

A RB had introduced several updates in the hope of improving its performance. However, as seen in the qualifying session, Faenza will hardly score any points. This will significantly affect RB’s chances of achieving a respectable position in the constructors’ championship at the end of the 2024 season.
