Mercedes-Benz has announced that the new generation of the 100% electric GLC will be unveiled at the upcoming Munich Motor Show, taking place from September 9 to 14.
The electric GLC and the future fully electric Class C sedan are the first models based on Mercedes’ new MB-EA platform designed for electric vehicles.

It is already known that the GLC will replace the fully electric EQC, which Mercedes ceased production of at the end of 2024, and will feature an 800-volt electric architecture that allows for fast charging of up to 320 kilowatts, unlike its predecessor, which offered a 400-volt architecture and a maximum charging capacity of up to 110 kW.
The new GLC will be available with an optional front electric motor that, when combined with the standard rear electric motor, enables the Mercedes SUV to offer all-wheel drive, which can be deactivated to improve efficiency and range.

Remember that camouflaged prototypes of the electric GLC underwent winter testing in March in the polar regions of Sweden, being put to the test at extreme sub-zero temperatures and conquering snow-covered roads.
