The NASCAR Cup Series race in Iowa on Sunday marked the first race in the top division at Speedway, and it was an impressive event. The reigning Cup Series champion emerged victorious, while the fastest drivers of the day had a disastrous ending after being involved in an accident early in the stage.

Kyle Larson was taken out of the race by [REDACTED], after his Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet No:1 lost control. Discussing the incident, JGR veteran [REDACTED] pointed out that Suarez is not the sole culprit of the incident and stated that the Hendric Motorsports driver also shares some responsibility.

The JGR driver also mentioned that in 90% of occasions, Larson would have escaped the three-car situation unscathed, given the speed of the car he had. However, that’s not what happened on Sunday.

The co-owner of 23XI Racing further emphasized that Kyle Larson did not consider how the drivers around him would react when he got involved in a three-car battle. He added that the No:5 team would be frustrated to have their race ruined due to the accident.

Larson dropped from first place in the points standings after finishing 34th in Iowa, with his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott taking the lead. It will be interesting to see who will win the regular season title, with Elliott, Larson, and Hamlin competing for the championship.
