David Coulthard warns Formula 1 teams about Red Bull’s RB20 performance.

The former driver of Formula 1, who now serves as an ambassador for Red Bull, recently revealed the team’s latest car at their headquarters in Milton Keynes. However, prior to the official launch, the RB20 was spotted at Silverstone for a test drive. Now, David Coulthard has shared the valuable feedback given by both drivers after they had the opportunity to experience the new vehicle.

Coulthard, a former Scottish F1 driver who has been closely associated with the team since its early days, engaged in a conversation with the drivers following their initial drives. He disclosed the details provided by the drivers regarding the car’s characteristics.

The 52-year-old driver offered insights into the drivers’ impressions of the car’s various features. The drivers found the car to be rational and did not observe anything unusual. They were satisfied with the car’s development, and the team was content with the alterations. Last week, the team introduced an entirely fresh car design, taking inspiration from the previous year’s model. The drivers anticipated a different feel based on its appearance, but they were pleasantly surprised by the driving experience.

Coulthard, who possesses extensive driving experience and strong connections with the Austrian manufacturer, also suggested that there could be multiple contenders for the championship title in 2024. He stated that if Red Bull can enhance their pace on race day, they have the greatest potential among all the teams. Nevertheless, other teams such as [Team A] and [Team B] are not far behind and demonstrated significant progress throughout the previous season.

As Red Bull prepares for the upcoming season, they seem to hold an advantage over the competition, considering their impressive performance last year. However, any team could catch up during the winter break and potentially disrupt Red Bull’s dominance in Austria.
