Dale Coyne Racing makes important driver announcement ahead of the upcoming NTT IndyCar Series season. The team has taken a unique approach by revealing three different drivers for their two cars throughout the 17-race season. This announcement comes just a few days before the start of practice sessions.
Jack Harvey, who was released from Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing at the end of last season, will be the driver of the #18 Honda car for most of the season. He will compete in 14 races, including the season opener in St. Petersburg this weekend. Harvey is grateful for the opportunity to join Dale Coyne Racing and is excited to continue his journey in the NTT IndyCar Series.
Nolan Siegel, a talented 19-year-old driver, will take over the #18 car in the later stages of the 2024 calendar. While he will still compete in a full season in IndyNXT with HMD Motorsports, Siegel will make his debut in the IndyCar in four selected races. The highlight of his season will be racing in the prestigious Indianapolis 500. Siegel is thrilled to join Dale Coyne Racing and is ready to make the most of this opportunity.
Dale Coyne Racing will also have a second car in partnership with Rick Ware Racing. Colin Braun, a skilled sports car driver, will have the opportunity to compete in the open-wheel series. Currently, Braun has only been confirmed for the races in St. Petersburg and The Thermal Club, with the driver lineup for the rest of the season still to be determined.
Both Braun and Harvey will hit the track with their new cars for the first time this season in St. Petersburg, Florida. Expectations are high as they prepare to take on the challenging city streets.
