Red Bull Demands Fairness from FIA: Shocking Revelations Unveiled from Canada GP Probe

In a jaw-dropping turn of events, Red Bull’s team principal, Christian Horner, has unleashed a fiery demand for consistency from the FIA following the investigation into the Canadian Grand Prix. The FIA’s scrutiny focused on a group of seven drivers, including Yuki Tsunoda, stirring up a storm of controversy in the Formula 1 world.

The turmoil began when Tsunoda received a harsh 10-place grid penalty for an incident involving a slow-moving Oscar Piastri during the final practice session under red flag conditions. Meanwhile, other drivers, such as Piastri, Kimi Antonelli, Esteban Ocon, Charles Leclerc, Lance Stroll, Carlos Sainz, and Pierre Gasly, received mere warnings for their post-race overtaking maneuvers that raised eyebrows among the stewards.

The Canadian Grand Prix culminated under the Safety Car after an intense collision between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Subsequently, the stewards flagged the drivers summoned for overtaking after the race had officially ended while Safety Car signals were still in effect, leading to issued warnings and ominous hints of potential harsher penalties for any future infractions.

Christian Horner did not hold back in expressing his frustrations, emphasizing the necessity for uniformity in the FIA’s decisions. He highlighted Tsunoda’s plummet to 18th on the grid due to the penalty, despite showcasing a commendable performance that saw him finish 12th. Horner acknowledged the challenges of overtaking in Canada and believed Tsunoda should draw confidence from his race performance.

Despite Tsunoda’s valiant efforts, Red Bull’s Achilles’ heel remains glaringly exposed in their Constructors’ title pursuit, with the team heavily reliant on Max Verstappen’s exceptional performance. Horner stressed the importance for Tsunoda to carve his own path in terms of performance rather than mimicking Verstappen’s setup, indicating progress in this direction over the weekend.

With Tsunoda languishing in 15th place in the Drivers’ Championship after ten rounds, the pressure is on for Red Bull to unlock his full potential and bolster their campaign for Formula 1 supremacy. The aftermath of the Canada GP investigation has left the F1 community on edge, eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this high-octane saga.
