Bruno Famin espera ver Pierre Gasly e Esteban Ocon correndo pela Alpine em Le Mans após a dispensa de Ocon da F1.

Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly have never had a good relationship in Formula 1.

The Alpine F1 team has been in the news for all the wrong reasons this year. One driver will leave the team at the end of the current season and, although the announcement of his departure was tough, the Alpine boss surprisingly left the possibility open for Ocon and Gasly to race at Le Mans in the future.

The whole situation with Alpine F1 escalated when Ocon crashed his A524 into Gasly’s car at the Monaco GP. Since then, there has been tension within the team, but things have improved over time.

As a result, both Ocon and Gasly are present in the Alpine garage at Le Mans and Famin even expressed his desire to see them race for the French team in the 24-hour race.

Famin: “Pierre and Esteban are interested. One day we may see them [at Le Mans], hopefully in an Alpine.” #LeMans24 pic.twitter.com/DdRlNJOUZV

Ocon and Gasly have a troubled history, which is one of the reasons why they have never been on good terms. Despite their efforts since 2023 to show that everything is fine between them, the F1 community knows about the hostility between them. Considering this and their conflicts in 2024, having them as a team in Le Mans could be a challenging project.

While Famin hopes to see the chaotic duo of Ocon and Gasly at Le Mans, the well-known host of the F1 Nation podcast claims that Esteban recently criticized Alpine in his post-Canadian GP rant!

Taking into account Ocon’s comments after the race, Clarkson had the following to say.

The current season has only nine stages and there are still a total of 15 Grand Prix events remaining on the calendar. Considering all the chaos that has occurred at Alpine since the start of the 2024 season, the coming months may once again cast a negative light on Alpine due to their highly competitive drivers.
