Bovy’s exceptional speed was evident throughout the qualifying sessions, where she led both Q1 and the Hyperpole. It is worth noting that the Hyperpole session was briefly interrupted by a serious accident involving Alex Malykhin in the Manthey Porsche 911. However, Bovy’s achievement marked Lamborghini’s first pole position since joining the WEC in collaboration with Iron Lynx for their Hypercar and LMGT3 programs. After a series of setbacks in the previous race in Imola, the team is determined to secure their second victory in the WEC, building on their success in last year’s Bahrain finale.
