BMW mantém van der Mark para a temporada 2025 do WorldSBK.

BMW Motorrad Motorsport, FIM Superbike World Championship 2025 WorldSBK, Marc Bongers, the responsible for the sport at BMW Motorrad Motorsport, Michael van der Mark, from the Netherlands, Shaun Muir, the team principal of ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK team.

ROKiT BMW Motorrad announced on Monday that Dutch rider Michael van der Mark will continue to race for the team in the 2025 WorldSBK season.

This announcement finalizes the factory team’s rider lineup for the upcoming season. Toprak Razgatlioglu, who currently leads the championship, has also signed a two-year contract for 2024 and 2025.

Van der Mark joined the BMW team at the beginning of the 2021 season but faced significant injuries during his time with the German team.

However, in 2024, the Dutch rider has recovered and is having consistently strong performances. In fact, his first non-finish of the season only occurred in Sunday’s race 2 in Misano.

“I am extremely happy and privileged to continue with BMW,” expressed van der Mark.

“I am truly grateful that, despite the challenges of the past two years, they still have faith in me. I believe that this year’s results demonstrate improvements.

“I am really pleased with the team’s efforts, the performance of the BMW M 1000 RR, and our continuous progress. Therefore, it is wonderful to be able to stay.

“This also boosts my confidence for the remainder of the season. I am prepared to maintain our momentum and be even more prepared for next year.”

Marc Bongers, the responsible for the sport at BMW Motorrad Motorsport, stated: “We are delighted to have Toprak Razgatlioglu and Michael van der Mark, two exceptional riders, in our factory team for the 2025 Superbike World Championship.

“Both pilots have shown in recent years that they are among the best and will form a formidable duo in our BMW M 1000 RR next season.”

Currently, van der Mark holds the eighth position in the drivers’ ranking with 66 points after the first four rounds of the season.
