Mattel, AirConsole, and BMW Group have announced that the classic card game UNO from Mattel will now be available on the AirConsole platform, which is equipped in BMW and MINI models.
The UNO Car Party will make its debut at Gamescom 2024, which will take place from August 21 to 25 in Cologne, Germany, where visitors will be able to experience the new card game inside the revamped BMW X3.
BMW also revealed that over 500,000 vehicles will receive the game through an over-the-air update on August 21, immediately following the presentation at Gamescom.
The new card game, now adapted to be played on the BMW and MINI infotainment system, can be played by four players simultaneously. However, the German brand warns that the vehicle must be stationary in order to play UNO.
Remember that BMW Group and AirConsole have had a partnership since 2022 with the goal of expanding the number of game titles through the AirConsole platform, which is available on current models equipped with BMW or MINI Operating System 9 in combination with BMW Digital Premium or MINI Connected Package, and with BMW Operating System 8.5 in combination with BMW ConnectedDrive Professional.
