Regarding vehicle assembly in Portugal, 32 heavy vehicles were assembled in July, representing a 23.1% increase compared to the same month in 2023.

In terms of major regions, the African market, led by Algeria (5.1%), maintains second place in exports of cars manufactured in Portugal with 7.9 percent of the exports. Asia is in third place with 3.4 percent of the exports of motor vehicles manufactured in Portugal.

Regarding the assembly of motor vehicles in the national territory, in August 2024, 14 heavy vehicles were assembled, representing an increase of 55.6% compared to the same month in 2023.
