Road traffic on the 25th of April Bridge will be closed again on the early morning of Sunday, February 25th, from 0:00 to 7:00, in both directions, “due to the ongoing work on the expansion joints of the road deck of the north access viaduct”.
Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP), stated in a press release that during the closure of traffic on the 25th of April Bridge, it suggests using the Vasco da Gama Bridge as an alternative crossing between the north and south banks of the Tagus River in the Lisbon region, “utilizing the Vasco da Gama Bridge”.
IP appreciates the “understanding for any inconvenience that the temporary traffic closure may cause”, justifying its necessity “to ensure the improvement of quality, reliability, and availability of road traffic on the 25th of April Bridge”.
