Isuzu D-Max com novo motor 2.2 turbodiesel

Already available for some time, for example, in Thailand, where it is produced and exported to most markets where it is sold, the Isuzu D-Max now also features the new 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine in Europe, replacing the previous engine with the same architecture but with a displacement of 1.9 liters. Already meeting the Euro 6e standard, it offers similar power (163 hp), but the maximum torque now rises to 400 Nm, constant between 1600-2400 rpm, with 60% of it available right from 1000 rpm, which translates, above all, into greater ease of use across a wide variety of applications.

At the same time, in the versions with automatic transmission, the gearbox now features eight speeds (only six in the previous model), which also contributes to greater efficiency and better performance, while certain variants continue to use a six-speed manual gearbox. In the Single Cab configuration, with rear-wheel drive only and manual gearbox, the consumption is 8.5 l/100 km, and CO2 emissions are 224 g/km, in the combined WLTP cycle.

With a towing capacity of 3500 kg and a payload of up to 1200 kg (depending on the configuration), the Japanese pick-up is offered in Single Cab, Long Cab, and Double Cab variants. The length varies between 5280 mm and 5320 mm, always with a wheelbase of 3125 mm, and it is worth highlighting, on the technological side, the very complete package of driving assistants, which includes a 360º panoramic camera, towing assistant, and adaptive cruise control with “Stop and Go” function.
