Alain Prost compartilha sua opinião sobre as chances da Ferrari no campeonato contra a Red Bull ‘opressora’

Ferrari is the only non-Red Bull team to emerge victorious in a Formula 1 race in the last two years. Charles Leclerc, Alain Prost, and Max Verstappen are all well aware of this fact. Prost, who has been associated with Ferrari in the past, acknowledges Red Bull’s dominant performance. The pace of Red Bull surpasses Ferrari by a significant margin. Prost believes it will be extremely challenging for Ferrari to catch up to Red Bull in terms of speed. The RB20 is much more dominant than Ferrari’s SF 24. Although the Ferrari SF 24 can still be found alongside the Mercedes W15 and the McLaren MCL 60, it remains to be seen where Ferrari will finish in the next championship.

During the Bahrain Grand Prix, Verstappen equaled Alain Prost’s pole positions record. Prost himself was present at the race. Verstappen, a three-time world champion, is determined to win his fourth world championship, just like Alan Prost. Prost is one of only five drivers to achieve this feat.

Prost is well aware of the dominance of Adrian Newey’s RB 20, especially with Verstappen behind the wheel. The car has the potential to break numerous records. However, Prost believes that Red Bull will ultimately prove to be strong. He has doubts that Ferrari will be able to compete for a world title. The performance of Red Bull on street circuits is still to be seen.

Max Verstappen remains highly motivated to win his fourth consecutive world championship this season, as former Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost stated. Despite the chaos caused by Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, Verstappen has remained focused and dedicated to his work.

In the first race of the season, held in Bahrain last weekend, Verstappen showed exceptional control and precision. Prost praised Verstappen for his frank nature, as the Dutchman never hesitates to express his opinions on various topics. Verstappen prioritizes his own thoughts and does not get involved in backstage political games.

With the dominance of the RB 20 over its competitors, it will be intriguing to see if Verstappen wins his fourth championship or if another driver wins their first. If Max Verstappen emerges victorious in 2024, he will join the group of six drivers who have won four driver championships. The outcome of this season for Red Bull remains uncertain.
