Equipe de Tony Stewart rotula piloto de Jimmie Johnson como “o maior bobo” após altercação em Iowa.

Noah Gragson and his team were extremely frustrated with John Hunter Nemechek in Iowa. The first NASCAR Cup Series race in Iowa witnessed Ryan Blaney, the current Cup Series champion, secure his first win of the season and secure a spot in the playoffs. The race was filled with exciting moments, and one of those moments involved NASCAR legends and drivers from different teams coming together.

During the second stage of the Iowa Corn 350, the driver of the No. 10 car for Stewart Haas Racing, who used to race for the same team in 2023 before his suspension, was spun around by the No. 42 car from Legacy Motor Club, driven by John Hunter Nemechek. Gragson, however, skillfully managed to avoid any damage and escape the incident unscathed.

But Gragson and his team were furious with Nemechek and his actions. The team manager of the No. 10 team, Drew Blickensderfer, criticized the Toyota driver, calling him a fool for his maneuver that nearly ruined the entire race for the SHR team.

Gragson’s team also took steps to speak with Nemechek’s spotter, who was next to him in the observation tower, and ask Nemechek to race more responsibly. While the SHR driver managed to secure a 24th place in the race, Nemechek’s race ended in 28th place.

Stewart Haas Racing is scheduled to cease operations after the 2024 season, leaving Noah Gragson as a free agent for the upcoming season. Gragson admitted that he has not yet secured a spot for next season and is actively looking for one.

The young driver needs to improve his performance and race cleaner to establish himself as a valuable asset in the market for various teams next season. It will be intriguing to see where he ends up next season.
