Ducati revela que Marquez se juntará a Bagnaia até 2026.

Ducati makes announcement about its MotoGP team for the 2025 season. Marc Marquez has been selected to be Francesco Bagnaia’s partner in the factory team. This decision was made after careful consideration by the Italian brand, which was previously deciding between Enea Bastianini, Jorge Martin from the Pramac satellite team, and Marc Marquez from Gresini. Reports initially suggested that Martin would be promoted, but Ducati changed its decision when Marquez made it clear he did not want to join Pramac. As a result, Martin signed with Aprilia, while Marquez will join the factory team in 2025.

Marquez’s career has faced challenges in recent years due to injuries and poor performances on a declining Honda. In an attempt to revive his career, he moved to Gresini. His last championship victory was in 2019, and he hopes to equal the record of nine-time champions Valentino Rossi, Mike Hailwood, and Carlo Ubbiali with another title win. Marquez expressed his excitement about joining Ducati’s factory team, praising the Desmosedici GP and the opportunity to ride alongside Bagnaia, who has been the world champion for the past two years.

Marquez also took the opportunity to thank the Gresini Racing family for their support during a crucial period in his career. However, his focus remains on the current season, where he will continue to give his best. With Marquez’s arrival, Ducati will have a formidable lineup with two double title champions by its side.

Luigi Dall’Igna, General Manager of Ducati, expressed his gratitude to Bastianini and Martin for their contributions to the team. He acknowledged their incredible talent and predicted that they would be strong contenders for the championship this season. Choosing Bagnaia’s new teammate was a challenging decision, given the number of talented riders available. In the end, the team chose Marquez for his undeniable talent and ambition. Dall’Igna believes that having two riders with a total of 11 world titles will greatly contribute to Ducati’s growth and success.
