Lando Norris acredita que a McLaren terá uma competição difícil dos rivais no Grande Prêmio do Canadá.

Lando Norris is concerned about the challenging competition in the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix. McLaren has had a strong start to the 2024 season, already securing a victory against Red Bull. The team aims to continue maximizing their results throughout the season and potentially challenge Milton Keynes for the championship. However, Norris anticipates tough competition from his rivals in the next race.

McLaren has been performing well since the start of the season, consistently maintaining one of the fastest paces on the tracks. Therefore, Norris expressed his satisfaction in racing at the Montreal circuit and described it as a fun track with challenging sections.

Furthermore, Norris highlighted the positive performance of the MCL38 in the recent races. The team’s chassis has performed well on different circuits during the 2024 season. However, some improvements may still be needed for the car to perform optimally on the Canadian circuit. Norris is expecting fierce competition.

McLaren has consistently achieved podium finishes in races this season. Therefore, Norris expressed his gratitude for having a weekend off after back-to-back races in Imola and Monaco. He also acknowledged the impressive results McLaren has achieved in the 2024 season, indicating that the team is likely to continue performing well in Canada.

In addition, Norris mentioned having productive sessions with his engineers and other team members, which leaves him hopeful for even better results in the upcoming races against rival teams. He is excited to see the changes that will be made to the chassis based on their discussions.

“I had productive sessions with my engineers at the McLaren Technology Center and now I’m excited to see what we will do this weekend,” said Norris.

McLaren has been steadily reducing the gap to Red Bull in the lead. As the season progresses, Milton Keynes could face significant pressure from Woking. McLaren’s continuous introduction of updates during the season, coupled with Red Bull’s difficulties, gives them a great chance to compete for the championship against Ferrari and Red Bull.
