In a dramatic turn of events, the Legacy Motor Club has scored a major victory against Rick Ware Racing, securing a restraining order in a legal battle over the sale of a charter. The order, granted by the court, has effectively halted Rick Ware Racing’s ability to make any moves related to the contentious charter for the next 10 days, or until a resolution is reached between the feuding parties.
With the potential purchase of an additional charter, Legacy Motor Club aims to expand its presence in the NASCAR Cup Series to three entries. Rick Ware Racing currently holds two charters, with one in use by Cody Ware and the No. 51 team, and the other leased to RFK Racing.
