Sergio Perez, from Mexico, piloting for the Red Bull Racing RB20 team, participated in the Formula 1 tests on February 22, 2024, at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
The first race of the 2024 Formula 1 season, which usually takes place on Sundays, is deviating from tradition. This is due to the start of the holy month of Ramadan on Sunday, March 10. As a result, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the second stage of the season, will be held on Saturday, March 9. This schedule change also affects the Bahrain Grand Prix.
As a result, the Bahrain International Circuit will kick off the event with Free Practice 1 on Thursday at 2:30 PM local time (11:30 AM GMT). Free Practice 2 will follow at 6:00 PM local time (3:00 PM GMT) on the same day.
Friday will be the day of qualifying, with Free Practice 3 starting at 3:30 PM local time (12:30 PM GMT) and Qualifying taking place at 7:00 PM local time (4:00 PM GMT).
Finally, the Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, starting at 6:00 PM local time (3:00 PM GMT).
Viewers in the UK and Ireland can watch live coverage of all the action, with highlights available later in the day on free-to-air channels.
To watch the races live, tune in to Sky Sports F1, which will broadcast all the sessions, along with pre and post-session programs. Additionally, Channel 4 will provide highlights of the qualifying and race sessions.
For live streaming, Sky Sports subscribers can use the Sky Go app, which requires an internet connection. Alternatively, coverage can be accessed through NOW TV.
